What Do We Have in Our Hands This Harvest?
In her first update as Church and Community Engagement Leader, Harriet Thomson reflects on a month of listening, learning and discovering the many gifts already present within Latchford Baptist Church and the wider community. Drawing on the Harvest story of the widow's flour and oil, and the BMS World Mission 2026 appeal Harriet encourages us to look not at what we lack, but at what God has already placed in our hands.
This inspiring letter celebrates the faith, generosity, skills and opportunities that are helping the church serve others, while looking ahead to how we can welcome new people, strengthen community connections and keep Christ at the centre of all we do.
